Yea, so um, everyday in the past where I have said it was the best day of my life...Well, I lied. Because that day was yesterday. I've been having possibly the worst week of my entire life, and last night just made it so much better...It was amazing. So, Nicole, her sister Britt, their dad Scott, Britt's friend Elizabeth and I all went to Boston to see Dir en grey. We left Nicole's a little after 4 to drive to Alewife Station. Things were going good....For a while. We got off at Park Street and got on the other train to go to Kenmore. Well, the Kenmore stop came. I walked out of the train, Nicole walked out, and as Elizabeth was about to walk out...The doors closed. And the train left. Yea, that was a nice little cherry on top of the 'worst week of our lives' sundae. So, we went outside and called Scott. He was naming off all these places they were near, because they got off at the Fenway stop...Well, we saw nothing. So we agree to all head towards the Avalon and meet there. We asked someone for directions...And either they gave us the wrong directions, or we just understood them wrong...Because we got lost.Well, a few phone calls, a few more directions given, and several streets ran up, we finally meet them at the 7-11 down the street from the Avalon. By this point, we're both out of breath and freezing...But that's ok, 'cause now we're on our way to see Dir en grey. So we get in line, which is pretty long....And see the funniest thing ever XD There was a tour bus next to the line (I'm not sure if it was Dir en grey's or not), but someone had written in the dust on the bus 'Kyo is a sexy beast' with little hearts around it XD So we all start cracking up, and once other people in lnie realize what we're laughing at, they all start laughing, too XD So, we talked to some people in line...There's a camera guy on the side, so we all waved to the camera XD Then we went in. The first thing I did was go to the merch booth. I bought a wristband, a dog tag, and a shirt...Pretty awesome. XD After that I gave Scott my jackets and shirt, because he stood in the coat check line for us ^^ So then I went to go buy the presale paper thing for The Marrow of a Bone. On the back of like 10 of the papers was a backstage pass...There were probably over 1000 people there, so of course I didn't expect to get one. Well, I buy my little paper, turn it over...And there's the sticker. The guy was like "Congradulations! You're meeting the band!" and I was just...Shocked. After a second, I was like "Can I go over there and scream for a minute...?" and the guy tells me to go ahead. So I step over to the side, and start screaming at the top of my lungs. "OH MY GOD I'M MEETING DIR EN GREY!!!!". Everyone in line stares, of course XD A few people gathered around me asking if they could see the backstage pass and stuff...It was awesome XD So then the guy was like "Wait, don't leave yet!" as I finished screaming....XD Then he explained to me that at the end of the concert, I needed to come stand by the FYE booth. So, I went and stood off to the side, Britt and Elizabeth there with me, and I started crying. It was so amazing....Like, I'm having the worst week ever, and then this happens. I was just so shocked. And of course, I'm laughing as I'm crying, and shaking like a psycho. And finally I'm like "I gotta piss" XD So Britt, Elizabeth, and like everyone else who heard me start laughing XD So we head into the bathroom, blah blah...Then I go to borrow Scott's cell phone so I can call my mom and tell her XD So I call her, and cry more.....Yea...XD After that, we went into the crowd. I saw Christina, and she had asked if it was me screaming, and I said yes, so she gave me a hug and congradulated me ^^ Everyone was asking me if they could see it..It was just so unbelievable. So, Nicole, Britt, Elizabeth and I all head into the crowd. The first band was Bleed the Dream....Holy shit, they were AWESOME. And very attractive..Especially the vocalist >_> So yea, I really got into their set...Little bit of head banging. The crowd loved them. I was actually a little sad when they were done >_> Sometime during their set, we met up with Chantal and Olivia. Chantal hung out towards the back with Britt and Elizabeth, and Olivia came up towards the front with me and Nicole. Fair to Midland came on next. They were horrible. I think I saw like, two people headbanging...No one got into their set. The vocalist seriously looked like he was having a seizure most of the concert. Needless to say, everyone was very happy when they were done XD So yea, Dir en grey was next, and it took them just about forever to set up. Sometime during the set up, I think it was, Kate saw me, so I said hi to her and Val ^^ And then more waiting >_> It was really amusing, because the crowd cheered like..Whenever a stage crew guy came out. One thing I did manage to do through the entire concert that makes me extremly proud...I stayed directly in front of Kyo the entire time XD Let me tell you, it wasn't easy >_> As soon as Diru came on, the crowd just went nuts, and everyone just PUSHED. I got pretty far up, though....I think the closest I had gotten was like, four people from the front or something. So before I say anything else, I'll just give you the set list...Got it off of Batsu, don't know if its in the right order XD;

Basically, the best fucking set list EVER. Holy shit were we lucky. Their performance was AMAZING. I gotta say, GDS is the best opening song ever..It really gets people going. I heard one guy behind me ask his friend "What the hell are we even saying?" and his friend was like "Just say what you think everyone else is" XD It was funny. But the people who were chanting "KYO" instead of "KILL" were annoying -_-Yea, so the whole thing was great...They played MR NEWSMAN. AND OBSCURE.AND THE IIID EMPIRE. God I feel so lucky XD Obscure was awesome <33 Later on, I saw some guy who I'm assuming was a dad who took his kid to the show, saying something about the Obscure video, and "the girl fucking a hole in the stomach" or something like that...I laughed. XD But yea, I watched Kyo for most of the concert, seeing as I was in front of him..He was just so...lively. And his voice was AWESOME. I'd say a lot better than it was at Family Values. He did a lot of acapella (or however you spell it..)...He was just so amazing. I did watch the rest of the guys whenever I got a chance (the crowd was kinda...nuts) and they were all awesome, too ^^ I've never headbanged so much in my life...And I screamed my fucking head off XD; It was nice to hear a lot of people singing...Didn't really get to hear that at Family Values. So yea, they went off the stage, and after a while of the audience chanting "Dir en grey!" and clapping, stomping, etc...They came out for an encore. XD I got REALLY close to the front during the encore...Like fourth row or something. It was awesome <33 Two guitar picks landed near me at the end, but I didn't get them..The girl next to me and the boy behind me did x.x And..I don't remember if it was a drum stick or a water bottle, but it went RIGHT over my head XD So, when I decided the concert was definetely over, I went over to the FYE booth to wait to go backstage. I was gonna try to get Nicole back with me, but when I asked, they said there was no way anyone could come back, no matter what x.x So she gave me her ticket to try to get signed for her ^^ While I was waiting to go backstage, I saw Erin, and told her I got a backstage pass...Well, so did she! XD What are the chances someone from the same SCHOOL as me would get one, too? XD So finally, they brought us all back to the concert area, which was now empty except like, workers and people who could hang out back there. They had us all line up near the backstage door. I was a little nervous, so I went to go stand by Erin, and another girl who I had been talking to came with and hung out with us ^^ Erin made blankets for the members of Dir en grey XD They were soft and pretty XD So after a while, they led us all to a room in the back, which was really cool looking XD We all lined up, and a staff member congradulated us, and gave us all instructions like only two things signed per person, and don't scream when they come in, because we already did our screaming during the show..XD So, Toshiya, Kaoru, and Shinya walked in first. I was kinda like "Where's Kyo and Die? >_>" in my head...And then Die comes out...On a staff member's back, who's giving him a piggy back XD And Kyo comes in behind him...Looking exhausted x.x I felt bad...;-; Right when he came in, he kinda looked around for a second, and then sat on a little step on the floor. The members all spread out, so we could get in line for one member at a time. It was funny, becuase a staff member told us we could go, and no one budged XD I started to move forward, but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to, so I kinda moved back again, and the guy was like "Guys...You can go..." So I step forward again, and then everyone goes to get in the lines XD I decide I want to go to Kyo last, since he's my favorite....Bad idea on my part >_> Well, first I go over to Toshiya, and he's just like "Heeeeeey" XD It was amusing. So I had him sign my ticket and Nicole's ticket, and I shook his hand and said it was nice meeting him XD I was actually pretty calm...Compared to when I met Kyo at Family Values XD Then I go over to Shinya. He was so cute XD The girl in front of me must've had nothing for him to sign, so first she gave him a playing card XD He flipped it over to see if that's what it was, and then he just kinda laughed and signed it XD Then she had him sign her wallet, which was all black with like..A little white part XD I'm not sure what he had asked her...I think he asked if she had something else XD But, he tried to sign on the little white part....And wrote his name like, really small on it and giggled XD It was so cute XD So then I had him sign the tickets, and I shook his hand...And when I was done I said "Thank you very much", and to my surprise, in perfect English, he says "No problem" XDDD That basically made my life XD Then I went over to Kaoru...Who LAUGHED at me XDD I had him sign the tickets...Signing mine was funny XD It was one of the ones you print out, so it was on a regular-sized piece of paper...Well, Kaoru kinda looked at it for a minute, then just grinned and signed HUGE across the paper XD It was funny. So then, I was like "Can I shake your hand?" because he was the first one who didn't just like, automatically shake my hand...And I was kinda shy, so the girls behind me stsrted giggling, and Kaoru laughed at me XDD Oh my god it was embarassing XD So, as I'm walking over to Die's line...I see no Kyo O.o; The FYE guy was standing near me and I'm like "Where'd Kyo go? ;-;" and he was like "Kyo's gone?" So he told me he'd be right back..Well, he came back a few seconds later, and was like "Kyo's not coming back in..." UGH. x.x; So he's the only one who's autograph I didn't get...I'd be really upset if I hadn't already met him at Family Values XD So then I met Die..Who also laughed at me XD He signed my stuff....He was so cute signing Nicole's ticket. XD All the other members had signed the back, and he kinda looked at it for a minute, then turned it over and signed all over the front XD He seemed to have fun signing the tickets..He wrote little messages in Japanese on them XD So, like Kaoru, I ask Die if I can shake his hand..Well, he laughs at me, and gives me this long, hard handshake...It was really amusing XDD So I go outside to meet up with my group. Something cool I learned after we left; getting that backstage pass wasn't just luck. Scott was talking to the FYE guy, who thought I was his daughter, and was like "Was your daughter the one who had asked my if she could scream?" and Scott said I was his daughter's friend...And the guy said he had given me a pass because I looked like a big fan <33 He had been giving the passes to the people who looked like they were big fans of Diru....^^ But yea, then we headed home. Ended up going on the wrong train and not getting home until 1:30...Elizabeth's dad picked her up when we got home, and I slept over Nicole's...We ended up skipping school today XD But yea, all in all....Best day of my life. Period. And I can officially say that I have shook every member of Dir en grey's hand. XD
